Certificate IV of Sport Development (SIS40610)
A sports development officer aims to provide opportunities for the participation inside all sections of sport. Delivering information to organise sport-related projects such as talent identification coordinator or manager, competition manager, program coordinator, coaching, club development manager and training. These programs have been designed to give you the knowledge and skills to apply within all levels of your chosen sporting discipline whether it’s for a local, national or even an international club, organisation or athlete.
Career prospects: Competition Coordinator and or Manager, Sport Development Coordinator or Programmer, Talent Development Coordinator and or Manager
Course duration: 20 weeks (2 terms)
Entry requirements: Applicants must show evidence of an upper intermediate level of English (IELTS 5.5 or equivalent) and be aged 18 years or over at the time of course commencement + Year 11 or equivalent + have complete physical ability

Diploma of Sport Development (SIS50610)
Diploma of Sport Development course provides the skills and knowledge for an individual intending to pursue a career in sport development. Occupational outcomes for this qualification can vary from managing competitions, sports venues and facilities and identifying and developing athletes. Work at this level would be undertaken with a high degree of autonomy.

Course duration: 40 weeks (4 terms)
Entry requirements: A successful completion of Certificate IV of Sport Development + Applicants must show evidence of an upper intermediate level of English (IELTS 5.5 or equivalent) and be aged 18 years or over at the time of course commencement.
