How Many Hours Are Students Allowed To Work On Student Visa?
- You can start working upon commencing your course as long as your student visa is approved
- You can work a maximum of 40 hours per fortnight when your course commenced and is in session (study period, including exam periods), and unlimited hours when your course is out of session (during scheduled school holidays). The fortnight session starts from Monday and ends the second following Sunday (it is a period of 14 days)

Why Do I Need To Pay for Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC)?
You must pay for your OSHC before applying for your student visa. It covers you for medical and hospital expenditure while you're in Australia.
